Medical cosmetics “INSI” comes from the ancient princedom “Karmrashօx”, founded in the 3rd century BC (now the village Hobardzi), where the mountain springs and wild herbs were famous for their healing properties. The alchemists prepared extracts, which were smoothing, bleaching and rejuvenating skin, curing ailments, giving strength and energy. The secret of the miraculous extracts was under the strict control of princedom and was one of the sources of income and wealth.
A unique method of plant collection is used by the company. Gifts of coniferous family are gathered at midnight – on certain days of the full moon (only 3 days during wild harvest season), when moonlight streams radiate the maximum pulse of energy. Rarely-grown varieties of thyme, bur-marigold, sage, chamomile and other plants are gathered at sunrise, when the morning dew covers all the closed buds of flowers. The age of harvesters is also important for collection; they are of 18-20 years old youth, fingertips of which emit a strong bioenergy.
The area of the collection itself is not only an ecologically clean area, but also a famous historical site – “Pushkin Pass”. It was not in vain, that Pushkin A. S. praised the beauty and power of nature of the Armenian highlands in his poems.
